THIS IS NOT A DRILL

The idea for my project was to create a publication of compiled quotes taken from UK politicians suggesting the idea that the things said by the people who run our country are worse, if not more violent than lyrics they have spoken about regarding the Drill genre. And to also create a series of Album covers from artists of the genre with more lighter elements not associated with typical generic conventions, to show that behind the personas and stereotypes, it is just music and a lot of what is taken out of context is just perception or how things are conveyed or twisted to hold up a certain image, connoting that both social economical groups are not as far removed as people may think.
